Looitporia Membership

As a non-profit organization, Looitporia is committed towards supporting the community and the membership fee paid by you contributes towards the betterment of the entire community in Hyderabad. The association hereby requests all patrons to become registered members or renew their annual membership (for existing members).

Eligibility: Any person above the age of 18 years will be eligible to become a member of the association.

Membership Fees:

Annual Membership: (Valid from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019)

Family: Rs.800 (For 2 adult members in a family)
Individual: Rs.500
Student: Rs.300 (on producing valid student ID)

Lifetime Membership:

Lifetime individual membership: Rs.5,000 Membership will be valid for 15 years from the date of application. Please refer to membership benefits section for more details.
Lifetime family Membersip: Rs.8,000. Membership will be valid for 2 adult members of a family for 15 years from the date of application. Please refer to the membership benefits section for more details.
Patron: Rs.20,000. Lifetime membership for 2 adult members of a family. Please refer to the membership benefits section for more details.

• Right to vote and participate in the Annual General Body Meeting
• Right to be part of the Looitporia Executive Committee through the election process
• Will be added to the Looitporia Official WhatsApp group and updated on all activities of Looitporia
• 20% discount on tickets for all Looitporia paid-entry events
• Members can put up stalls/kiosks at discounted rates in Looitporia events for marketing/sale of their products
• Participation in members-only events like Looitporia Picnic, Sports Day, etc.
• Participation by children and elders to showcase their talent during Looitporia cultural events
• Medical emergency support:
  o Physical support from the Executive Committee in Hyderabad
  o 1 free unit of blood from Red Cross Blood Bank / NTR Memorial Trust Blood Bank
• Opportunity to participate in regular sports activities (badminton, football, etc.) on weekends and public holidays
• Opportunity to network with the larger Assamese community in Hyderabad

Membership Process:

Step 1: Please transfer the amount and note down your transaction details. The membership fee may also be paid in cash to any of the executive member and a receipt can be obtained from the member.
